Church Choir

St. Paul’s Anglican Church Choir has a long history in the City of Vancouver dating back to the early 1900s. Through the years, it included mixed choirs, and boys’ and men’s choirs.

Dianne Warren, church organist, is the choir director. Currently, there are 14 permanent members and 6 on-call members who are able to join us for special services at Christmas and Easter. It is a well balanced choir with strong voices in all four parts. As well as special Seasonal services, the choir enjoys singing “world music” services when we introduce sacred music from other countries. These have included Africa, South America and First Nations music. We also include other instruments to accompany the vocal parts and have used drums several times.

Weekly choir practice is on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. There is also a practice at 10:00 a.m. before the 11:00 a.m. services and at 9:00 a.m. before the 10:00 a.m. services.

New members are always welcome.
