Forty days after Easter, we commemorate  the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus took his place in heaven to seat at the right hand of the Father.

After Jesus’ ascent to heaven, his disciples spent days in prayer and on Pentecost, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and with such flame that they went out to proclaim the word of God to the world.
