Sunday Worship Services:

On Sundays other than the 1st Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Eucharist at 9:00 am and 11 am. All celebrations of the Eucharist use ordered liturgies of the Anglican Church of Canada. It unites people across time and space in common prayer and worship.

The 9:00 am celebration is intimate and relaxed in style. We gather in the chancel to sing and to hear and discuss the Scripture readings and the sermon. We stand around the altar to pray and to give and receive Communion one to another.

The 11 o’clock celebration is more formal in setting and traditional in style. Our singing is accompanied by choir and organ. We hear the Scriptures read and listen to a sermon. The priest celebrates at the high altar and, with lay assistants, administers Communion. Communion is also administered in the Lady Chapel for those who might find the steps to the high altar difficult.

On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the eucharist at 10 o’clock in the morning. We combine the intimacy of the 9:00 am service with the formality of the 11 am service.

Weekday Worship Services:

On weekdays we celebrate the Eucharist on Wednesday at 7 pm in the chancel and on Thursday at 11:15 am in the Lady Chapel. These are simple, said celebrations of the Eucharist lasting about 30 minutes.

History: The first Eucharist in the Parish of St Paul was celebrated on 24 March 1889. The first Eucharist in the present church building was celebrated on 24 December 1905
