Sara has been involved in Anglican ministry in one way or another for most of her career.
She has been the Music Director at St. Mark's Ocean Park, and St. David's Anglican, Delta, and a Communications Specialist at Christ Church Cathedral. At St. David's she also became the Events Coordinator and Program Developer for the final two years of her time there.
Outside of the Anglican World, she has also gained experience in Administration, Bookkeeping, Operations Management and as a Professional touring and teaching musician.
She still makes music and has an expensive habit of learning new instruments or joining a Beatles cover band now and then. She also loves growing food after taking an Organic Farming Course and hopes to one day tend to her "Chaos Garden" a bit better than she currently does. She has recently taken up Pickleball and can be found walking trails or dancing when time permits.
She has her Diploma of Theology from Vancouver School of Theology and her Certificate of Leadership Excellence from Sauder School of Business at UBC.
Sara is Non-Binary (she/her/hers) and would love to honour your pronouns should you feel comfortable sharing yours. She is passionate about Social Justice and Eco-Justice. She is very happy to be serving St. Paul's Anglican Church!
