At St. Paul's Anglican Church, we strive to make everyone feel welcome. Our services combine a structured formality with a relaxed atmosphere, ensuring a comforting experience for all attendees.
We warmly welcome people at all stages of their faith journey. Whether you are curious about Christianity, skeptical, or consider yourself a mature believer, you are invited to join us and participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Our aim is to create a space where everyone feels at home and free to explore their faith at their own pace.
During our services, you'll receive a service bulletin and an Announcement sheet detailing the specific prayers, songs, and readings for the day. This ensures everyone can easily follow along and engage in worship. Following the service, there's always an opportunity for conversation and fellowship, allowing you to connect with our community.
To maintain a peaceful environment, we kindly ask you to switch your electronic devices, such as phones and watches, to silent mode during the service.
We are enthusiastic about welcoming more children to St. Paul's! We aim to create an inviting environment for families and offer various activities and programs that cater to our younger attendees, encouraging them to participate and enjoy the community.
As a downtown church, St. Paul's is easily accessible via public transport, though we do not have dedicated parking. Several nearby parkades offer parking options for those traveling by car. We encourage attendees to consider walking or using public transit when possible, promoting environmental responsibility.
By Bus: Bus No. 6, heading towards Davie/Downtown, departs from Southbound Cambie St @ Dunsmuir St. It conveniently stops at the corner of Jervis and Davie, just a short walk from the church. It's an easy route, ensuring you won't miss us!
Absolutely not! We welcome you to come as you are. At St. Paul's, you'll find a relaxed dress code, with some attendees choosing to dress up and many opting for casual attire. We want you to feel comfortable, so wear whatever makes you feel most at ease.
We acknowledge that we live, work, and worship on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
